in early September, it is typically sunny, mild, and dry. The temps average in the mid 70’s during the day but can drop into the 50’s at night. make sure to pack both sunscreen and a sweater!

What are the ceremony and reception venues like?

Our ceremony will be taking place outdoors on a foot bridge with the mountains, hiking trails, and a ski lift in the background. the ski lift will be running on our wedding day for those looking to take a scenic ride! keep in mind, a round trip lift ride takes about 45 minutes.

We chose to host our reception at one of our favorite restaurants in park city - riverhorse on main! the restaurant is up one flight of stairs and mostly indoors, but the main space opens up to an outdoor patio. the views of main street from the patio at night are some of the best!

Will there be a break between the ceremony and reception?

maybe (but not long). we are still finalizing the schedule and will update the website once confirmed.

check out our “things to do” page for some of our favorite bars around town if you want to squeeze in a cocktail before or after the ceremony!

Are children invited?

While we are keeping our celebration adults-only, we’re making an exception for close family.

Park City is a family-friendly tourist town and has many top-rated babysitting services. these have come highly recommended:

Park City Sitters
Mountainside Sitters

Our venue should be able to accommodate any dietary restrictions, just let your server know once you are seated. if you prefer to let us know in advance, text or call daryn or connor anytime before august 22nd.

What happens if it rains?

if rain is forecasted on the day of our wedding and there will be any modifications to the start time or location of our ceremony, we will ensure our guests are contacted a few hours before the ceremony.

What is the parking / transportation situation?

We highly recommend staying in old town to take advantage of the towns walkability and all that main street has to offer! with that being said, there are plenty of options to get around, regardless of where you stay.

uber and lyft are very reliable in and around park city. there is also convenient and free transportation around town, including the main street trolley and shuttle service. limited metered street parking is available on main street and multiple public parking garages in old town. lastly, if staying at a luxury deer valley resort, most offer free private guest transportation.

if you intend to drive to the ceremony, public parking is available in the underground parking garage at 825 main street. the reception location is a five minute walk from the ceremony location. there is also a large parking garage behind the restaurant on swede alley.
